The film 'A Parish is Born' was shot in 8mm cine by Mount Merrion resident Mr. Paddy Kilroy. At a later date, Fr. Val Rogers made a seperate commentary on the images in the silent film. With the assistance and support of Mount Merrion resident Mr. Dick Conroy (DVD Centre) Mount Merrion Historical Society has made this combined video and audio available.
